The staff are generally friendly but the lines are often backed up and the items are pricey. Kroger is much better, but unfortunately there is not one in the Birmingham area.
I love publix and I love this store. Its always clean and the associates are ALWAYS friendly and willing to serve!
The staff is always wonderful...kind, helpful, respectful. Prices are comparable to other places. Great sales each week. But I return to this location over other options because of the people who work there. A+
This location was out of a lot of their sale items that I was specifically shopping for. At the check out the cashier was busy having a conversation with another employee. Part of my order was WIC. I told her that. She didn't hear me and got upset because she had to void my transaction and start over. Has she been listening to me and not gossiping perhaps she would have heard me if she would have just acknowledged my existence. I won't go back to this location. Is rather drive the extra 6+ miles to a different store.
If Publix doesn't have it in stock all you have to do is ask. All the employees are pleasant and helpful. I love how they introduce new dishes with their "taste it" kiosk and invite you to try. Not only can you sample the recipe but they give you the recipe card. The parking lot is ample and if its raining they will stay with your cart while you bring the car up to the entance.
